Members Endorse new Constiution

On 13 September 2025, members gathered at a special general meeting to review a new constitution for the North East Bushrangers. The North East Bushrangers Basketball Incorporated Constitution was unanimously endorsed at that meeting, reflecting the confidence of members in the governance of the Club.

“A constitution is an important governance tool that defines the responsibilities of the Club and sets an appropriate and agreed framework for its operations,” said Matt Nelson, Club Vice President. “It defines roles, processes and deliverables at all levels of the Club and should give members a clear understanding of how the organisation functions.”

This is the first constitution executed for Club, aligning with the Bushies commitment to its athletes, coaches, administrators, and technical officials.

“This constitution will support Bushies in meeting its objectives, and establishing the organisation as a professional entity that can deliver great outcomes for its members,” said Nelson.
