The club

The North East Bushrangers Basketball Club - affectionately known as Bushies - is a regional basketball association that operates within the Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL). The Club aims to foster talent among local athletes, and support them in realising their aspirations to play in broader state programs and beyond.

To be involved with Bushies, players must be actively participating in the domestic competition of their home association within the North East, including: Albury, Benalla, Echuca, Euroa, Mansfield , Myrtleford, Shepparton, Tatura, Seymour,  Wangaratta, Wodonga and Yarrawonga-Mulwala.

The Club is an incorporated association that is formally affiliated with the Wangaratta Basketball Inc, as a partnership with an affiliated Basketball Victoria association is required to participate in the VJBL.  However, Bushies is an independent entity with its own strategic yet complementary direction.
